Maggie Gill is the Chief Executive Officer and President of Memorial Health. She had previously served as the Vice President of Finance at Memorial University Medical Center in 2004 and later became the medical center’s first Chief Operating Officer the next year. She provides headship for all physician leaders, Vice Presidents, and Senior VPs at the medical center.
Gill is also unswervingly responsible for government relations, physician relations, internal audit, Memorial Health University Physicians, financial assistance, facilities management, neuroscience and orthopedic programs, corporate communications, the Heart and Vascular Institute, as well as trauma and preoperative services. Before joining the Memorial University Medical Center, Maggie served as a Chief Financial Officer at Tenet South Florida Health System for five years. During her stay at Tenet, she received the Tenet Outstanding Chief Financial Officer award thrice.
Maggie is a bachelor’s degree holder from Florida State University. She also earned her MBA, with honors, from Saint Leo University in Florida. Gill completed her course work in strategic thinking and management at Wharton School.

Georgia Medical Society Annual Awards
Memorial health care team scooped seven awards in the completed Georgia Medical Society’s 16th Annual Health Care Heroes Awards. Memorial University Medical Center won in the categories of community outreach, health care education, physician lifetime achievement, healthcare innovation, and organizations/institutions.
The awards distinguish individuals whose careers are committed to civilizing the health as well as the welfare of the whole society. The nomination was made in six categories; healthcare innovation, institution/ organization, community outreach, healthcare education, allied health professionals, and medical practitioner’s lifetime attainment.
